Hello! My name is Rachel Gaither. I have been teaching since 2003. This is my 18th year of teaching, and my 4th year in 5th grade. I have my Bachelor's Degree in American Studies and African American Studies from The University of Tennessee Knoxville, a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and Reading Instruction also from UTK. I also have 65+ post hours in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee State University. I have two children Raquel (Roxy) age 4 and Sebastian (Bash) age 2. I am a die hard sports fan and fantasy football fan. I absolutely LOVE purple, glitter, Diet Coke, and Hamilton.
