RESOURCES FOR ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING WEEK 1: April 6-9

Students can complete ELA week 1 through Nearpod, which can be accessed through Clever.  Code:  RHAEF  Nearpod lesson click here 
 
The LLE 5th grade ELA team has created Read Aloud PowerPoint videos to use for each day of the packet.

ELA-
1.  iReady Reading: login to Clever with [email protected] and password
Students can work on their learning paths, but there are some teacher assigned lessons that go along with the district plans.  Those are:  Text Structures, part 1 and 2 and Comparing Text Structures, part 1 and 2.  It would be beneficial for students to complete the assigned lessons in that order.  They will receive feedback from the iReady program.
 
2.  Nearpod:  access through Clever
Students can work on a Nearpod lesson on Text Structures.  Code:  SMYDA
 
3.  Quizizz:  access through Clever or go to https://quizizz.com/join
Students can do assignments on Text Structures.  Codes:  867439 and 991901

Contact me for your child's username and password. Students can practice Text Structure as well as many other topics.
 
Social Studies-
5.  Common Lit:  access through Clever or click on the link below
Students can read articles and answer questions about Civil Rights topics.
 
6.  Brainpop:  access through Clever
Students can go to Dashboard to view assignments on Civil Rights.  Watch the movie and complete the assignment for three assigned topics.
