Parents,
We are very excited to announce, we may now allow parents the opportunity to eat lunch with their children again. Please read the following carefully, as no exceptions can be made for any reason…
Lunchroom visits will be done on a rotating basis with each Grade-Level having one whole week and rotating through all six different grades. We will begin with Kindergarten students the week of Labor Day, Tuesday, September 6, 2022. We will not make up days for holidays, inclement weather days, etc.… that may occur during a week. (Please see the year-long schedule on back.)
The following guidelines will be in place:
1. Due to limited seating, a maximum of eight people per day can be accommodated.
2. Parents must call the school front office at 615-904-6730 and speak with school office staff to schedule a lunchroom visit.
3. To avoid misunderstandings, lunchroom visits may not be made via e-mail, fax, etc.… They must be scheduled by speaking with school office staff.
4. If you are unsure of which Grade-Level’s week it may be for lunch visits, you may confirm the correct week with your child’s teacher before calling the school office. However, lunchroom visits cannot be scheduled with or through your child’s classroom teacher, only school office staff.
5. Only parents, legal guardians, and those listed on the emergency contact list, with proper ID will be allowed in to eat.
6. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
7. Parent and child only, no other friends or students are allowed to join.
8. If you have more than one student here at LLE and they are in different grades, you will have to schedule to come back. You cannot stay to eat with multiple students.
Due to an ever-changing environment, should circumstances change and impact our ability to provide a safe environment for our school community, this plan may be modified or terminated at any time without prior notice.
