RESOURCES FOR ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING WEEK 2: April 13-17

The LLE 5th grade ELA team has created Read Aloud PowerPoint videos to use for each day of the packet.  Click each link to view the video.

Students can work on their learning paths, but there are some teacher assigned lessons that have been assigned by the district.  They will receive feedback from the iReady program.

Students can do assignments on Opinion Writing and Citing Text Evidence.  Codes:  429767 and 726462

Contact me for your child's username and password. Students can practice skills suggested by the teacher as well as many other skills.
 
Username is baskerville5131.  Password is rabbit5131.  Students can access music videos on a variety of topics.  Suggested topics:  opinion writing, text structure, compare/contrast, Martin Luther King, Thurgood Marshall
 
Social Studies-

Students can read articles and answer questions about Civil Rights topics.

6.  Brainpop:  access through Clever
Students can go to Dashboard to view assignments on Civil Rights.  Watch the movie and complete the assignment for three assigned topics:  Civil Rights movie and graphic organizer, Martin Luther King and movie quiz, Brown vs Board of Education and worksheet.
